Mihalis Cover Art

The cover art was designed on the basis of the original image which was already released in 1991 as album cover. It is a picture of an installation made by artist Szandor Vincent Scharsich. He was commissioned by the band to design a cover for this album.

For the new cover art, the original cover was scrambled into pieces of Polaroid photos. This reflects the production process of the album "Mihalis (30th Anniversary Remix)": The original recordings on tape were digitized, disassembled into pieces, rearranged and re-produced from scratch.
Of the resulting file, a NFT was created and offered for sale on OpenSea. WIth a click on the picture you'll be redirected to the sales platform.

The cover art background was blackened for further use for the album cover of the new release.
